Habitual Health is the premier Personal Training facility for professional men and women over 40 to get strong, fit and regain their confidence in their bodies all while having fun. We take a holistic approach to training our clients, helping them rebuild their bodies, often overcoming injuries and pain to help them reach their goal. We combine individualised weight and cardiovascular training with personalised habit coaching to support better nutrition, sleep and stress management … promoting consistency and accountability to work towards sustainable results.
Unlike other boutique personal training facilities that focus solely on “sweating it out” and say “catch ya next time” offering crowded or impersonal classes, Habitual Health specialises in innovative, individualised and challenging workouts no matter the level that work with our clients bodies reducing the risk of injury, overtraining and burnout. Our memebers feel lighter, stronger, fitter more energised and empowered to conquer any obstacle they face.

We are actively seeking a rockstar fitness coach with a passion for working with men and women over 40. We are seeking someone who supports our mission to serve the community with leading small group fitness and personal training programs. But we aren’t just looking for someone who knows how to work out with clients. A “rockstar” coach plays a key role in providing extreme client value and is committed to creating raving fans who show up, share their success, recruit their friends, and stick with the program.

What You’ll Own
- Conducting Initial Fitness and Quarterly Goal Assessments
- Leading Group Classes and Personal Training Sessions
- Programming and modifying workouts
- Guiding the Client Journey
Outcomes You’ll Produce
- Excellent Trainer Satisfaction and Customer Feedback ratings (reviewed quarterly)
- Referrals, online reviews, and package upgrades (reviewed monthly)
- Trending increase in average group class attendance
- Maintain 80% member renewal rate or higher
What You’ve Got to Have
- Commute & Transportation - must live within 45 minutes of Bannockburn and have a current drivers license (P plates okay) and reliable transportation. Punctuality is critical.
- Schedule Flexibility - on-boarding for this position will require several hours of shadowing staff at different days and times throughout the week. Once officially hired a more consistent schedule will be enforced, but all team members must remain flexible in their ability to attend meetings, pick-up training sessions, and cover shifts.
- Work Experience - two years of industry experience is preferred, but more importantly… our coaches lead by example and must be able to communicate extreme levels of exercise knowledge while demonstrating exceptional movement quality and motor control. They must also possess empathetic and relatable qualities that allow them to connect with our diverse population of aging and “not so fit” clients.
- Certifications - must have a certificate IV in Personal Training, current first aid and CPR certifications.
- Insurance - must have your own professional indemnity insurance.

What You’ll Get
This position will build up to +20hrs/week in six months or less. Additional perks include:
